New Flooring Project Overview
Your flooring is one of the most important features of your home’s interior! It not only effects the visual appearance of each room but also plays a role in your comfort, durability, and of course, the long-term value of your home. Over time, flooring can wear down due to foot traffic, accidental spills, scratches, heavy cleaning and aging, which may prompt you to replace the flooring in one area or the entire home at the same time.
Included in this Estimate
- Old Flooring Removal (if selected): If your old flooring needs to be removed, it will be torn out and disposed of properly. The condition of the subfloor will be inspected to ensure it’s ready for the new flooring installation. Minor repairs to the subfloor may be necessary and are often factored into the quote.
- All New Materials and Installation Supplies: This estimate includes the cost of all flooring materials, underlayment (if required), adhesives, fasteners, and other supplies needed to complete the project.
- Labor Costs to Complete the Project: The total man-hours required to install the new flooring, based on the type of flooring and your location are factored into this estimate.
- Site Cleanup and Disposal: After installation, any leftover materials, old flooring, and debris will be cleaned up and removed. Common disposal fees have been factored into this estimate.
Not Included
- Major Subfloor Repairs: If any major damage to the subfloor is discovered during the flooring removal, additional costs for repairs may apply.
- Baseboard or Trim Replacement: If you need new baseboards or trim, this cost is not included in the estimate.
