Included in this Estimate
- Site Preparation: The area for your gas furnace will be cleared of any obstacles, to assure easy access for the technicians.
- System and Ductwork Evaluation: Before installation begins, your contractor will inspect the ductwork for leaks or damage, and confirm that ventilation meets safety and efficiency standards of the new system. Minor repairs and/or adjustments are typically included in the estimate, but extensive duct repair is not.
- Furnace Installation: The new furnace will be installed according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes. This includes connecting the gas lines, exhaust vents, electrical wiring, connecting it to a new or existing thermostat and resealing the ductwork where it connects to the system
- Labor Costs: All labor for removing your old furnace and installing the new one is included in the estimate. Labor rates are adjusted based on your location and the complexity of the project.
- Site Cleanup and Disposal: Once the installation is complete, the area will be cleaned of any debris or leftover materials. The old furnace will be removed and disposed of.
- Permits and Inspections: Many local building codes require permits or inspections for furnace installation. While the cost is minimal, it is included in these estimates.
